Why does the government does not have any clear guidelines as to how one can integrate the API in those software which are developed using PHP. A PHP (recursive acronym for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) is a widely-used open source general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for web development and can be embedded into HTML. It is used for developing cloud based applications. Where can we find proper guidelines regarding the steps one can follow to integrate the two API (PPSR & MOTOCHECK) in a cloud based application which is being developed using PHP????????
The 15 year old PPSR system is in the process of being replaced by early 2018, so this needs to be taken into account when deciding whether to proceed with using the current APIs. The replacement API draft has now been finalised. https://api.business.govt.nz/api/apis/info?name=PPSR&version=v1&provider=mbiecreator
Motochek is not a service that we provide and is not related to PPSR. If you need support for using that you will need to contact the Motochek providers.
Our PPSR documentation is listed below, please ensure you have read this thoroughly by clicking on the ‘Documentation’ tab on each page, reviewing the content, and downloading the documents at the end of each page. The documents contain the full information that you need to use the PPSR services.
There are sample XML request and response files and some of the documents have perl examples included. There is no full sample code for PHP or other languages, given the large number of development tools and languages available it is more practical to provide the XML samples and details of what the content needs to be. The responsibility is on developers to implement the crafting and sending of the XML using their tool of choice.
