The SSL certificate used by api.business.govt.nz and sandbox.api.business.govt.nz will be replaced after 3pm on Tuesday 11 September 2018.
We will be changing the certifying authority used for the certificate to Digicert. You should make sure that the new provider is trusted by the products you have built to use MBIE's APIs.
The new root authority will be DigiCert Global Root CA.
It is possible that some software packages may not have the certifying authority trusted by default and may need to manually add the trust, particularly for older versions of operating systems and software platforms.
You can check the Digicert Demo site to confirm whether the authority is already trusted on the servers and machines that you use.
If the authority is not trusted you can manually download the DigiCert Global Root CA certificate and add it to your trust store in advance of the change.
